OSCE and Unison hold a roundtable on higher inclusive education

A discussion of a draft Inclusive Policy of Higher Education was held in Best Western Congress Hotel in Yerevan. The draft Policy was developed by Unison NGO with support of OSCE. All the major stakeholders participated in the dicsussion: Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Issues Jemma Baghdasaryan, representatives from Ministry of Education and Science, Municipality of Yerevan, National Center For Professional Education Quality Assurance, Universities, etc. After the brief presentation of the draft Policy and the entire OSCE-supported project "Education for All" implemented by Unison, the participants discussed the policy; many of them made valuable suggestions, which will be included in the final version of the Policy. Most importantly, according to the Ministry of Education and Science, the Inclusive Policy will become part of the National Strategy of Higher Education Development. The event was widely covered by mass media.
